Hi, I’m Julie.
I am a queer, white, cis-gendered femme, able-bodied parent. I grew up in a blended, mixed ethnicity home and have experienced many of the hardships that life throws our way. I have personally benefitted greatly from my own therapy and really believe in the work. I came out as queer later in life and continue to straddle straight and queer communities. I have both personal and professional experience with long-term monogamous partnership and alternative relationship styles. My relationship with gender is complex and I am in close community with folks who are gender expansive. My life experience greatly informs my professional stance that there is no prescription for being and that each of us is on our own journey and in our own time. I look forward to hearing about yours!
